There's no shame admitting you have cupboard space set aside for your swimwear which continues to grow as you avoid the difficult decision to discard an old favourite pair. Or despite all best intentions, there's a treat that you can't do without which will never appear on a nutritionist's meal planner. We chatted to seven #F-Teamers who confessed to a little vice or two that gets them through the hours of training.

"I have around 20 swimsuits and they don't fit in my drawer anymore! I leave them hanging up around the house instead of dealing with the storage issue. They are the most worn clothing item I own so I think it's totally justifiable. I'd say I'm only a 9 out of 10 on the Funkita swimwear addiction scale though. It could be worse"

"I don't like to admit it but I have too much active wear and hardly ever use it all. I should try harder and make sure every piece gets the same love. I wear it whenever I feel like it, not just when I'm at the gym or at yoga. If you need to borrow some, I have three drawers full so there's plenty to go around!"

"Hands down, the most over-indulgent meal I can't help but go back to is pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. I'm pretty sure it's very bad for you but when you've had a tough week at training, you sometimes just need it! I should probably go apologise to my nutritionist now."

"I've never been that sneaky about getting out of training but I definitely have times where I take too long in the bathroom during a long, boring set! I've also missed a couple of morning sessions because I slept through my alarm. My coach wasn't too happy at all so I now have multiple alarms set!"

"I'm not usually the troublemaker or the one my coach has to keep an eye on, but once I forgot to pack my Funkitas into my bag for two sessions in a row! The first time coach wasn't too happy but he forgave me but the second time he wasn't very impressed. I had to ride the bike on the side of the pool instead. It wasn't on purpose but I got out of training for the day."

"Don't bother asking me for a lift anywhere because I'll say no. Why? Because there's an epidemic of water bottles and ceramic coffee cups in there. I'll finish one and stash it for a rainy day. I didn't realise how many there were until just now. I'm not proud of it but the perk is that people have stopped asking to carpool with me because they fear what lies underneath."

"Our coaches always want us to have a specific healthy diet plan so my mum makes up these really healthy salads for my school lunch. I'm very committed to swimming and try to do everything that will give me the best chance, but I started to suffer from severe chocolate deprivation. For three weeks everyone kept saying how fit I was looking from the healthy eating, but little did they know that at least twice a week I'd buy one of those big Freddo chocolates from our school canteen! To this day, nobody found out and I ended up swimming PBs. The reason has got to be chocolate power."
